Dr. Felicity KELLIHER

Dr. KELLIHER received her PhD in small firm learning and management capability development from Queen’s University Belfast, Northern Ireland. She has more than 21 years of teaching and training experience and also has extensive experience in senior Project Management and International Retail and Finance Consultancy roles. Dr Kelliher is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Management and is Program Director of the Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) at the School of Business, Waterford Institute of Technology, and Ireland. She is/ was a visiting professor on Masters Programs at Grand école, France; Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier, Guelph and Memorial University Newfoundland, Canada and NUI Galway, Dublin City University and Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. Dr Kelliher lectures on Doctoral, Masters and Executive programs specializing in organizational behavior, leadership, change management and business development. She also facilitates executive development/ CPD initiatives and co-manages the MBA insider action research organizational change program and supervises/ co-supervises Master and Doctoral research candidates. As a Fulbright Scholar, she will travel to the University of Missouri, USA in 2015 to study trust among rural business networks. An award winning academic for research in small firm and executive capability development, Dr Kelliher has published in top-tier journals including the Journal of Tourism Management and the Journal of Business Ethics, amongst others, and has recently co-edited a book. She has co-authored winning entries to the European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD). She is a member of the Royal Irish Academy Social Science Committee and is the Membership Officer and newsletter editor of the Irish Academy of Management National Council.
